Nordic Language Press creates original language-learning resources rooted in Nordic languages, everyday life and culture: from graded stories and illustrated guides to structured practice and exam preparation.
Who we are
We are an independent press building a growing library for learners of Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic. Our work brings together original graded stories, practical language resources and illustrated explorations of Nordic culture. We believe language is more than vocabulary and grammar. It is also the words people choose, the traditions they share and the everyday situations in which communication happens.
Stories, words and everyday practice
Our resources bring language to life through stories, themed vocabulary, listening exercises and practical tasks. Learners can build their skills step by step, explore culture in context and work towards clearer, more confident communication.
Where we stand
Finnish and Swedish lead our current catalogue, with placement assessments, four-skill practice and exam preparation for YKI, Swedex and TISUS. Norwegian Bokmål is available through stories, placement, CEFR practice samples and Healthcare Nordic workplace-language resources. Danish and Icelandic are part of our longer-term plan. We are building this catalogue with care, one language and one resource at a time. This is a press, and it is being built to last.
